The primary function of this role is to manage and oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. This includes responsibility for journal entries, account reconciliation, financial statement accuracy, and month-end closing activities in coordination with other finance sections. You’ll be interacting with key players such as C-level executives from enterprise-level organizations which can expand your skills and network. Supervise monthly accounting processes and closure of accounts, ensuring timely completion and accuracy. Ensure all financial operations comply with budgetary requirements and oversee financial programming. Perform monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions and assist in the department's account reconciliation. Analyze monthly revenue and expense variances to identify trends and address discrepancies. Manage monthly bank transactions and ensure accurate recording procedures through effective bank reconciliation. Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger for subsidiary accounts. Coordinate with other finance sections to monitor compliance with closing tasks. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as needed. Support the preparation of schedules for auditing and coordinate directly with auditors. Design and prepare audit schedules for external auditors and draft financial statements based on finalized trial balances. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
