Intake Specialist Personal Injury Law · California Clients · Remote ABOUT THE CLIENT We're a Beverly Hills-based personal injury law firm representing accident and injury victims across California. The firm handles cases spanning auto accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death, all on a contingency basis, no fee unless the client wins. We're is known for aggressive, trial-ready advocacy: rather than settle early for less, the firm builds cases toward litigation when that's what it takes to secure the right outcome for the client. ROLE OVERVIEW We're hiring an Intake Specialist to be first impression for every new personal injury case. This is a phone-first, client-facing role: you'll be calling and speaking with prospective clients directly, qualifying their case, and getting strong matters signed and handed cleanly to the Case Manager, without the attorney needing to get involved. How you sound and how you make people feel on that first call matters as much as what you know. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Field and place calls with prospective clients to gather incident details and assess case viability Qualify leads against the firm's case criteria across California personal injury matters (auto accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and related claims) Guide qualified prospects through sign-up, including retainer agreements, disclosures, and initial paperwork Log and maintain accurate, complete records for every lead and new client in the firm's case management system Hand off signed cases to the Case Manager with a clean, complete file, no gaps or follow-up questions needed Follow up promptly and honestly with prospects who haven't yet signed, without overselling case value REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Non-negotiable honesty and integrity; good-faith mistakes are never held against you, but dishonesty is disqualifying Track record of owning work end-to-end with minimal oversight; once something is handed off, it gets done without follow-up or reminders 2+ years of hands-on experience in California personal injury law specifically, not general PI or other practice areas Fluent, polished spoken English with a neutral accent; callers should not be able to identify you as based overseas Strong active listening and rapport-building skills, comfortable on high call volume Excellent written communication for accurate, professional case notes Prior experience in a plaintiff-side personal injury intake or qualifying role is a plus IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE This role calls for someone warm on the phone but sharp underneath it, able to build instant trust with a stranger while accurately reading whether their case is a fit. You're proactive rather than reactive: you don't wait to be asked whether a lead was followed up on, you've already done it. You take pride in handing off a file so complete and so clean that nobody downstream has to chase you for details. WORK SCHEDULE 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday – Friday
