Intake Specialist for Immigration Law Firm (bilingual)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and personable Bilingual Immigration Intake Specialist (Spanish <> English) to join one of our U.S. clients’ teams.

The ideal candidate has prior experience supporting a U.S. immigration law firm and is comfortable working in a client-facing role. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively assess and qualify potential clients while handling sensitive immigration matters with professionalism and empathy.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with immigration intake, particularly removal defense and family-based immigration matters. Experience working with individuals who are in removal proceedings or detained, as well as conducting preliminary assessments of potential clients’ situations, is highly preferred.

Who You Are

• An experienced Intake Specialist with hands-on experience supporting Immigration U.S.-based law firms.
• Confident speaking with prospective clients and building rapport over the phone in both Spanish and English.
• Comfortable handling sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high volume of inbound inquiries.
• Comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Adaptable and quick to learn new systems and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries from prospective immigration clients in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Conduct client intake interviews and gather relevant information regarding immigration matters, including removal defense and family-based immigration cases.
• Follow up promptly with leads who have submitted inquiry forms, requested information, or expressed interest in the firm’s services.
• Qualify prospective clients by assessing their immigration situation and determining whether they are a good fit for the firm’s services.
• Explain the firm’s consultation process, services, and next steps while effectively converting qualified leads into paid consultations.
• Process consultation payments and assist clients with scheduling appointments.
• Coordinate with attorneys and the legal team to ensure a smooth transition from intake to consultation.
• Provide a high level of client service while handling sensitive immigration matters with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Previous experience as an Immigration Intake Specialist supporting a U.S. immigration law firm.
• Experience handling removal defense, detained client matters, and family-based immigration cases.
• Previous experience conducting client assessments and gathering information to evaluate potential immigration cases.
• Hands-on experience using legal and communication tools such as MyCase, Zoom, WhatsApp, and Google Voice.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, with the ability to handle sensitive client situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to client confidentiality.
