Who we are Looking for: We are looking for a licensed attorney in Argentina to join our team and assist our U.S. based lawyers as well as our South America and U.S. based paralegals to analyze, research and draft legal documentation associated with US business immigration cases in assisting our clientele in Latin America. We are looking for someone who loves working with immigrants as much as we do! A successful candidate will have excellent writing, research and analytical skills to assume responsibility in an active and diverse immigration practice. An applicant must be fully bilingual in both English and Spanish. In this position you will be working with professionals with advanced degrees throughout Latin America who are interested in obtaining a green card in the United States through a self-sponsored green card application (the EB-2 National Interest Waiver and EB-1 Immigrant Visas). Your role will be to serve as a liaison between the U.S. Attorney and the client in order to facilitate a viable immigration application. This role requires excellent communication skills both via email and orally -- it is exceptionally important that we communicate with our clients in both a timely and effective manner. In order to obtain approval for our client we must demonstrate that the client intends to engage in a proposed endeavor that has substantial merit and will provide significant benefits for the national interest of the United States. As you gain experience in the U.S. legal process you will have a greater role in devising the strategy to assist the U.S. attorneys obtain approval for our clients. You will work together with the U.S. attorney and U.S. based legal assistant as a team to develop a strategy for each case in order to evaluate, research, analyze and draft successful Petitions and Applications. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential to effectively handle the high-volume of cases with which you will be working. We are looking for an attorney who pays attention to detail, writes well , communicates exceptionally, has a positive attitude and strong work ethic. We are a growing full-service immigration firm that handles all types of US immigration cases but this role will primarily center on processing EB-2 National Interest Waiver Applications in addition to some EB-1s, O-1s, and other employment-based cases. QUALIFICATIONS: • Licensed Lawyer in Argentina, preferably with a strong focus on writing and research; • 3+ years legal experience is strongly preferred but not required; • Fluency in English; • Exceptionally strong communication skills; • Strong research and writing skills; • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to work well under deadlines.
