Integration Architect

£40,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience | 12 month fixed term contract, with likelihood of further extension | Remote, UK

3Roc Ltd is recruiting an Integration Architect to support a property programme for a major UK central government justice department. You will work with delivery teams, suppliers and stakeholders to connect systems effectively and turn requirements into clear, implementable designs.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract, salaried and employed directly by 3Roc, with the likelihood of further extension. The initial programme assignment is expected to last 6 to 9 months.

What you will do

• Understand integration requirements and system dependencies.

• Produce interface designs, data flows and clear architecture decisions.

• Apply suitable API, messaging and event-driven patterns.

• Address security, resilience, monitoring and error handling.

• Work with engineers and suppliers through implementation and testing.

• Support technical governance and operational handover.

What you will bring

You will have practical experience designing system integrations and communicating technical decisions. You should understand APIs, messaging, data protection and secure service-to-service communication. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, is useful. Familiarity with Terraform, containers, CI/CD, Python or SQL would be an advantage, not a requirement to know every tool.

Working arrangements

Remote working in the UK with occasional travel to the client's London office. Candidates must be eligible for and willing to undergo SC clearance, which 3Roc will sponsor. Start ASAP, subject to successful clearance. 3Roc will issue a start date once clearance is complete.
