Purpose

This role is responsible for defining the system integration strategy and configuring, installing and validating IDEMIAs solutions that best addresses customers' requirements and optimize IDEMIAs business value.

Key Missions

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Integration Engineer to join our team in Łódź. This is a hybrid role combining platform integration and validation with hands-on infrastructure deployment — including on-premises installations at customer sites. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable scripting a test plan and spinning up a docker-based cluster, and can represent the company technically in front of customers.

Key Responsibilities
Integration & Testing
• Define integration and testing strategies, including test plans and scenarios
• Ensure requirements traceability and full test coverage
• Perform system integration and validation testing (load, performance, high availability, accuracy, and security)
• Investigate issues by analyzing logs during test and production execution
• Report and track incidents using configuration management tools until resolution
Platform Deployment & Infrastructure
• Deploy and maintain the platform on customer premises, including full-stack orchestration (Docker Compose, Kubernetes, or equivalent container orchestration)
• Manage private Docker registries and container lifecycle (build, tag, push, pull, versioning)
• Configure and maintain supporting infrastructure: reverse proxies, networking (VLANs, firewalls, DNS), and secret/config management
• Work with Apache Cassandra as part of the platform stack, supporting deployment and basic validation
• Execute platform upgrades, patches, and rollbacks with minimal service disruption
• Support and troubleshoot the SaaS platform hosted on Microsoft Azure, coordinating with internal cloud operations when needed
• Collaborate with customer IT/infrastructure teams to meet security and compliance requirements during deployment
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
• Produce and maintain documentation for installation, deployment architecture, testing, operations, and administration
• Provide training to customers, internal support, and maintenance teams
• Maintain regular communication with customers in English on a daily basis

Profile & Other Information

Required Skills & Experience
• 2-6 years of relevant experience in integration engineering, DevOps, or platform deployment
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, Git, Log analysis
• Familiarity with Apache Cassandra (data model concepts, basic querying with CQL, understanding of cluster architecture)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (resource management, networking, storage, container services such as AKS or ACR)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/SSL, proxies, firewalls)
• Basic scripting knowledge in Bash and/or Python for automation and deployment tasks
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose issues across the full stack
• Fluent English - written and spoken - for daily customer-facing communication

Nice to Have
• Experience with configuration management or infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform)
• Familiarity with private cloud or on-premises environments (vs. public cloud only)
• Knowledge of EMV payment systems or financial transaction platforms
• Experience with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager)
• Exposure to security hardening practices for on-premises deployments

Location: Łódź (On-site presence required once per week - not a fully remote role)
