Integration Engineer

Job Title: Technical Integration Lead (Webhook & API Development)

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Job Type: Full-time contract, 12 Months

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

Summary:

• This is a senior, hands-on technical role focused on designing and building webhook and API integrations. You will work closely with our Lead Generation Activation team, Client Engineering and external technology partners to develop solutions that operate reliably within a complex enterprise technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for new webhook and API integration capabilities.

• Work with ClientEngineering and platform partners to assess integration approaches, data availability, system dependencies and technical feasibility.

• Translate business requirements into technical designs, integration specifications and development requirements.

• Evaluate technical trade-offs involving system performance, security, scalability and implementation complexity.

API & Webhook Development

• Design, develop and test webhook and API integrations between external platforms and Clientsystems.

• Build and configure integration components, including API requests, responses, data transformations and validation logic.

• Develop secure and reliable integration workflows with appropriate authentication, error handling, logging and monitoring.

• Troubleshoot complex integration issues, identify root causes and implement practical technical solutions.

Testing, Deployment & Technical Quality

• Develop and execute integration testing to validate data accuracy, system behaviour and performance.

• Work with internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues identified during testing and implementation.

• Support proof-of-concept development, production readiness and deployment activities.

• Document technical designs, integration configurations, testing outcomes and operational support requirements.

Cross-Functional Technical Partnership

• Partner with Lead Generation Activation to understand business use cases and translate requirements into working technical solutions.

• Collaborate with ClientEngineering, data teams, security teams and external technology providers throughout development.

• Communicate technical findings, dependencies and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Support technical knowledge transfer and handover to the internal teams responsible for ongoing engineering support.

• Proficiency in backend software development using a modern programming language.

• Experience implementing data validation, transformation, error handling, logging and integration monitoring.

• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills across interconnected platforms and services.

• Understanding of secure data handling, API security and enterprise integration standards.

Knowledge & Experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering API integrations or enterprise integration solutions in a hands-on software engineering role.

• Experience working with ClientAPIs, CRM data models or comparable enterprise applications.

• Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms with internal business systems.

• Ability to work effectively with engineering, architecture, security and business stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

• ClientData Cloud/Data 360, MuleSoft or comparable data and integration technologies.

• Marketing technology platforms, lead management systems or B2B marketing environments.

• Experience with Convertr, Integrate or similar lead management platforms.

• Experience developing real-time data validation or identity matching solutions.

• Strong understanding of lead management platforms, campaign trafficking, QA processes, and lead delivery workflows.
