🚆 Interim Integration Programme Manager | Major UK Rail Transformation
Salary: £85,000 - £95,000 annual salary
Duration: 12 months FTC with potential extension
Location: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Integration Programme Manager to play a pivotal role in one of the most significant transformations the UK rail industry has seen in a generation.
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of Britain's railway network, supporting the integration of two major rail organisations as they move towards a new, unified operating model.
Working closely with senior leadership, directors and key stakeholders, you will take a high-level integration strategy and turn it into a detailed, deliverable programme of change. You'll be instrumental in bringing together people, processes, systems and cultures to create a more joined-up, collaborative organisation.
The Role:
- Develop and drive a detailed integration programme plan, translating strategic objectives into practical delivery roadmaps.
- Lead organisational design, culture change and Target Operating Model implementation.
- Bring together multiple directorates, senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to drive delivery.
- Map current and future-state processes, identifying dependencies, risks and opportunities.
- Establish strong relationships across both organisations, encouraging collaboration and breaking down traditional organisational silos.
- Oversee programme milestones, governance, budgets and delivery quality.
- Support the transition towards a unified operating model, ensuring the organisation is ready for key implementation milestones.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience leading large-scale integration, transformation or business change programmes.
- Strong experience delivering Target Operating Models across people, process and technology.
- A background in organisational design, culture change and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working within complex, regulated or operational environments.
- Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, directors and executive teams.
- Strong programme planning, governance and dependency management skills.
- Knowledge of recognised change methodologies such as PROSCI or Six Sigma.
- Relevant programme/project management qualifications such as MSP, PRINCE2 or PMI.
The Opportunity:
You'll be joining at a particularly exciting point in a major national transformation, with genuine scope to influence how the future organisation is structured, operates and works together.
Rail experience would be advantageous, but candidates from other complex, regulated and operational environments will also be considered.
If you're an experienced change and transformation professional who enjoys bringing organisations together, navigating complexity and turning strategic ambition into tangible delivery, we'd love to hear from you.
