Build and lead the team that brings Intelligence Center X to life for leading companies across the EMEA, through business-relevant enterprise agentic AI use cases.

About Intelligence Center X

Intelligence Center X (ICX) is Siemens' industrial AI platform. ICX combines Siemens' own core graph, ontology, machine learning and agentic AI technology with our industrial software foundations to bring truly differentiated capabilities to market. It connects a company's enterprise and operational data into an enterprise ontology, and uses machine learning and agentic AI to reason over it and act on it.

Our customers are leaders in automotive, aerospace and defense, semiconductors and electronics, industrial machinery, pharma and financial services.

How we engage with customers

Beyond typical demos, we work forward-deployed with the customer — on relevant data, against their problem — and build a working agentic AI solution, grounded in an enterprise ontology. It is how we establish value with customers: where they see the use case come to life, and where we earn the right to move forward.

Key Responsibilities

The role

As the ICX Engineering Manager for the EMEA, you build and lead the EMEA team of ICX Engineers — a presales FDE team that leads the ideation and creation of these engagements. They model a customer's domain as an enterprise ontology, build agents and machine learning that reason over it and act on it, and deliver working agentic applications that compel customers to invest in Intelligence Center X with Siemens.

This is a formal people-management role, and a player-coach one. You:

  • Lead by example — build customer solutions yourself, and set the bar for how the team builds them.
  • Are a senior presence on key opportunities — with customers, and alongside sales leadership.
  • Recruit and grow the team — hire strong engineers, and develop them.
  • Evolve the global practice — work with global ICX leaders on how we engage with customers across every zone.
  • You work alongside sales teams and strategic partners, and report to the EMEA Pre-Sales Leader.

What your team's work looks like

In a given week, one of your engineers is connecting quality and supplier data for an aerospace manufacturer to find why defects keep reaching its customers. Another is building an agentic assistant that helps a pharma company make batch release decisions in hours rather than days. You are with a third customer's leadership team, shaping the next engagement. Your job is to make sure each one lands — and that what one engineer learns, the next one starts with.

    Requirements

    Who you are

  • You lead technical teams that work with customers. Through formal management or team-lead roles, you have led customer-facing FDE, presales, services or other technical teams.
  • You are hands-on with agentic AI and ontology. You still build, and your team follows your example.
  • You are entrepreneurial. You take ownership, move at startup pace and find a route to an outcome before the problem is fully defined — with some of the largest companies in the world.
  • You think in business value, and you are credible with customers and sales leadership alike.
  • Skills and experience

We look for experience or strong potential in the following areas.

  • Leading technical teams — formal management or team-lead roles for customer-facing FDE, presales, services or other technical teams.
  • Technical consulting leadership — leading client engagements and delivery teams in agentic AI, data and analytics at a consultancy or systems integrator.
  • Recruiting and developing engineers — hiring strong people, coaching them and growing their careers.
  • Senior customer presence — leading working sessions with technical and business stakeholders, including executives, on key opportunities.
  • Data engineering and analytics — making sense of how a company's data is spread across its systems, bringing it together and modelling it.
  • Modern data and AI platforms — experience working with platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Google Cloud, AWS data lakes, Palantir or C3.ai.
  • Agentic AI — designing agents and AI solutions grounded in enterprise data: LLMs, retrieval, tool use, MCP.
  • Agentic development tools — Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or similar, used to build quickly and well.
  • Enterprise ontology — modelling a real business domain as an ontology or knowledge graph and putting it to work in an enterprise.
  • Machine learning and data science — building models that solve real business problems, such as forecasting, anomaly detection or classification.
  • Experience in our industries — manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, pharma, aerospace or financial services.
  • Travel

Some travel is expected, up to 25%. For people who want to spend even more time on site with customers, there is room for it.

    Why Join Us

  • Grow with ICX. Lead as Siemens brings Intelligence Center X to the market as a leading industrial AI platform.
  • Build and lead a team. ICX Engineering is growing fast, and you shape both the Americas team and the global practice.
  • The problem every enterprise is working on. Agentic AI grounded in a company's own data and context.
  • A direct line to product. Your team's engagements help shape the ICX roadmap.
  • At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. Together, 30,000 people across more than 200 countries build technology that shapes the real world. You'll grow through real projects, strong technical peers, and global mobility, backed by the scale and benefits of an industrial software leader.
