Intelligence Researcher (Chinese Speaker) | London/UK | Contract

The Deloitte Intelligence Services Centre (ISC) is a growing team within the Strategic Risk Transactions Advisory practice of Deloitte UK. Established as a centre of excellence, the ISC delivers incisive insights and actionable intelligence, empowering Deloitte and its clients to proactively mitigate and manage risks while identifying and capitalising on emerging opportunities. The Role

We are looking for an individual with an analytical mindset, curiosity, an interest in research and intelligence with fluent Chinese language skills. We welcome candidates with transferable research, analytical and communication skills. Candidates should hold existing Security Check (SC) clearance or be eligible to obtain SC clearance.

The candidate we are looking for is comfortable taking the initiative, organising their own work and collaborating with others. Attention to detail, clear communication and a commitment to producing high-quality work are important. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, contribute to our growing business and work in line with our values and integrity.

• An analytical mindset and an interest in researching information from publicly available sources.
  
• Based in the UK, with Chinese-language speaking and reading skills sufficient to research sources and communicate findings.
  
• Existing Security Check (SC) clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
  
• Ability to gather, assess and summarise information from different sources, with attention to accuracy and supporting evidence.
  
• Curiosity about current developments and the ability to identify patterns, emerging issues and potential risks, including online and reputational risks.
  
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings concisely and flag important issues.
  
• Good organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
  
• Comfort working with data and digital tools, and an interest in technology trends.
  

Desirable skills:

• Language skills in addition to Chinese and English.
  
• An interest in using AI and digital tools to support research and analysis.
