Interim CAPEX Procurement Manager

Antwerp Region, Belgium | Hybrid (25% On-site / 75% Remote)

We are supporting a leading international organisation delivering a significant €200m+ CAPEX investment programme across industrial infrastructure, engineering and sustainability projects.

As part of this transformation programme, we are seeking an experienced Interim CAPEX Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations and contract delivery across a portfolio of high-value projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior procurement professional with a proven track record in CAPEX procurement, contractor management and complex stakeholder environments within industrial, manufacturing, energy, chemicals or infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities across a €200m+ CAPEX programme
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for engineering services, construction works, industrial equipment and technical packages
• Manage complex tender processes from market engagement through to contract award
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, contractors and EPC partners
• Draft, negotiate and manage construction, service and framework agreements
• Support project teams with cost optimisation, value engineering and risk mitigation initiatives
• Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal and Project stakeholders
• Ensure procurement governance, compliance and best practice throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive supplier performance, contract management and commercial value delivery
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and project outcomes

Requirements

• 10+ years' procurement experience within industrial, manufacturing, chemicals, energy, utilities, infrastructure or engineering environments
• Proven experience leading procurement activities across major CAPEX programmes valued at €200m+
• Strong track record sourcing engineering services, construction packages, industrial equipment and technical solutions
• Extensive experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing supplier relationships
• Strong understanding of contract administration, commercial risk management and project procurement
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and executive-level stakeholders
• Experience operating within fast-paced project and transformation environments
• Fluent Dutch & English and French would be highly advantageous

Contract Details

• Immediate Start Preferred
• Competitive Day Rate (happy to discuss over a call)
• Duration: 12 Months, with a potential to go permanent
