Interim CFO

This is a remote position.

Cox Consulting Network is partnering with a confidential, private equity-backed SaaS company seeking an Interim CFO to lead transaction readiness, guide M&A financial analysis, and provide finance leadership.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Prior CFO experience with private equity-backed SaaS businesses
  
• Experience leading a sponsor-backed exit, including buyer diligence and transaction preparation
  
• Ability to direct a hands-on M&A modeler, challenge assumptions, and ensure accurate, decision-ready financial analysis
  
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, financial modeling, and transaction-related reporting
  
• Ability to turn incomplete or inconsistent financial and operational data into credible buyer materials
  
• Comfortable working directly with executive leadership, investors, and external advisors in a fast-paced environment
  

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Salesforce data and Sage Intacct
  
• Success guiding businesses through CFO transitions and interim leadership assignments
  
• Experience with mid-market companies and established FP&A teams
  
• Immediate availability with flexibility to increase hours as needed
