Interim Marketing Paralegal

Major, Lindsey & Africa’s client has an immediate need for a Contracts Manager / Paralegal.

Overview: Our client is seeking a Contracts Manager / Paralegal.

Company: Food and beverage company

Experience: Successful candidates will have at least 5 years of relevant experience

Location: Remote

Responsibilities Include:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts and marketing/influencer agreements.
• Run redlines, conduct first-level review, and flag key legal and business issues for the attorneys.
• Serve as a liaison between legal team and outside counsel/internal stakeholders and partner with stakeholders to drive efficient contract review and completion of legal tasks.
• Provide litigation support: draft/redline simple pleadings, track deadlines, collect documents, and communicate with outside counsel.
• Monitor legal workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency of legal team
• Assist in other legal areas, as needed/appropriate according to candidate’s experience (including IP, Advertising, Regulatory)

Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a contracts manager or paralegal
• Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements
• Demonstrated experience working within a lean legal team and managing multiple needs in a fast-paced environment
• Experience providing support in litigation, IP, marketing, or regulatory is a plus
• Food or beverage experience is a plus

Pay Range: $50-60/hour
