The internship includes back- and middle-office responsibilities supporting Cambridge Associates’ broad range of services. The Client Reporting Group works closely with internal Investment Teams, Portfolio Implementation Management, Investment Operations, Data Processing, internal contractors, and external clients.

Our team oversees all aspects of monthly and quarterly performance report production across multiple asset classes, including coordinating with various parties, data input, reconciliation, client report administration, exhibit generation, quality control, and investments performance review.

You will support performance reporting for portfolios across a diverse client base, from endowments to private clients. • Proactively communicate and address requests related to investment performance, deviations from benchmarks and asset allocation targets, and portfolio movements to CA investment teams
  • Collaborate with other operations groups to complete shared processes as part of report preparation, including confirmation and oversight of transactions, changes to the client’s investment portfolio, data readiness, benchmark updates, and changes to the upcoming reporting deliverable
  • Maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, utilizing internal resources to fulfill time-sensitive data requests and providing professional customer service to CA investment teams and clients
  • Participate in activities and processes in support of broader department objectives. Opportunities include projects, initiatives and application development and other duties as assigned, as earned

We Offer:

  • In-depth orientation and training program and structured mentorship program, which partners each intern with a Client Reporting Analyst who serves as his/her key resource while at the firm
  • Team-based work structure, which supports an environment where immediate contributions can be made, and ongoing learning is encouraged and fostered through interactions with colleagues across multiple groups, office locations, and experience levels
  • Exposure to robust data platform expanding across public and private asset classes and learning about institutional client investments portfolios
  • Opportunity to join peer-led auxiliary teams to strengthen project management and leadership experience
  • Opportunity to join our community service activities and other events to promote team collaboration and corporate citizenship

Qualifications:

  • Penultimate-year students (any major), with a record of high academic achievement
  • Must be eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship or restriction
  • Attention to detail and experience reconciling data across multiple sources
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to interact efficiently with a wide range of investment teams and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to work on multiple projects/client assignments simultaneously, while ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Adopt a proactive, customer-service oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently and collectively as part of a team
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, positive attitude, willingness to make an impact by improving processes
