Overview

5-week Paid Internship Program - January 2027

Looking to kickstart your career in Human Resources and People & Culture? Gallagher Bassett’s Brisbane office is offering a 5-week paid internship in January 2027!

As part of a global leader in insurance and risk management, you’ll work alongside industry experts, develop valuable skills, and contribute to initiatives that support and empower our people.

How you'll make an impact

At Gallagher Bassett, our People & Culture team plays a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive workplace. As an intern, you’ll:

  • Support key HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with learning and development programs to help employees grow and thrive.
  • Collaborate on projects that enhance workplace culture and employee wellbeing.
  • Gain exposure to HR policies, compliance, and best practices.

About you

Key Criteria

  • You’re scheduled to complete your studies in 2027 or later.
  • You’re available full-time for 5 weeks from Monday 18 January to Friday 19 February 2027.
  • You’re a domestic or international student with full Australian working rights.
  • We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
