Intern - Risk Management

This is a year-round hybrid internship requiring both remote and on-site work at our Fort Wayne, IN office. The ideal candidate would begin working part-time hours beginning in April 2027.

In this role, you will…

• Gain knowledge of risk management systems and policy types.
  
• Enter risk management education completions and premium credits in the policy management system.
  
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
  
• Provide operational support to Risk Consultants, including live education programs and onsite risk assessments.
  
• Assist with quality assurance review of risk management education materials and resources.
  
• Assist with operational team projects, development of standard operating procedures, and ongoing quality improvement efforts.
• Assist with various other duties and project work as assigned.

We are looking for candidates with…

• Minimum of one year of college in business or related field with at least one year remaining.
  
• Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
  
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
  
• Organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  
• Willingness and ability to quickly grasp new concepts and learn new tasks.
  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  
• Year-round availability: 15-20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week in the summer at Fort Wayne, IN headquarters.
  
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
