The NielsenIQ Customer Success team plays a critical role in transforming how we serve our clients by leveraging innovative tools, data, and insights to help businesses make informed decisions. As a Customer Success Intern, you will support the delivery of client-focused solutions, reporting, and analytical services while developing a strong understanding of the FMCG industry and NIQ's products and services.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in client servicing, data analytics, market measurement, and business consulting while working alongside experienced Customer Success professionals.

Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

Client Support & Service Delivery

  • Support the preparation and delivery of regular client reports, presentations, and insights.
  • Assist in responding to client inquiries and resolving routine data or reporting issues.
  • Help maintain high levels of client satisfaction through timely and accurate support.
  • Support the monitoring and tracking of client requests to ensure agreed service levels are met.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Assist in analysing market, consumer, and retail data to identify key trends and business insights.
  • Support the maintenance of reporting templates, dashboards, and other client deliverables.
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality in all reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of actionable recommendations based on data findings.

Collaboration & Learning

  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers, Operations, Data Science, Retail Analytics, and other internal teams.
  • Participate in internal projects aimed at improving client service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Learn and develop expertise in NIQ solutions, platforms, and analytical tools.
  • Support knowledge-sharing activities and team initiatives.

Client Engagement

  • Assist in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in client meetings, review sessions, and training sessions when required.
  • Provide support in preparing presentation materials and meeting summaries.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (completed within the last 1-2 years) in:
  • Economics,
  • Computer science/Engineering
  • Business Administration
  • Management Sciences
  • Marketing
  • Statistics
  • Mathematics
  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Social Sciences or related disciplines

Experience

  • 0 to 1 year of work experience, internship experience, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), industrial attachment, or graduate trainee experience.
  • Exposure to data analysis, research projects, customer service, or business reporting will be an advantage.

  • Basic understanding of data analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytical tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude.
