INTERN, SPORT SERVICES Be a part of building and servicing a national brand. The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is a national, private, not-for-profit organization committed to high-performance sports excellence. We are the largest private supporter of high-performance sport in Canada, and we are responsible for all aspects of Canada’s involvement in the Olympic Movement, including participation in the Olympic and Pan American Games. The Sport Department at the Canadian Olympic Committee is seeking an individual to help with sport services and administrative coordination as the Games Planning Team prepares for the Lima 2027 Pan American Games. LOCATION This internship will be located in the COC office in Montreal, QC at 500 Boul. René-Levesque, 2nd Floor. We offer a hybrid work model that allows for up to two days of remote work each week. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND PRIORITIES The Sport Services Intern would assist the Games Planning Team with various tasks including: Support the Sport Services team with data verification for the Lima 2027 Pan American Games. Support with distribution, collection and update of registration requirement statuses in the COC’s Games management system. Assist with the accreditation and sport entries processes for the Lima 2027 Pan American Games. Provide support to the team with the coordination and administrative tasks as needed including vetting and verifying large amounts of data. Support in the planning and delivery of various touch-points with National Sport Organizations (NSOs) such as team registration reviews and preparation seminar marketplace. Assist contacts from NSOs via Sport Services shared email when required. Assist in other sport department projects as required. QUALIFICATIONS AND CRITICAL SKILLS Must be enrolled in a Canadian degree or diploma program in Sport Management or relevant field Knowledge of the Canadian Sport System and Canadian athletes considered an asset Strong organization skills and attention to detail Time and priority management; ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects and tasks Ability to work effectively within a team Ability to build and maintain excellent work relationships with various internal and external stakeholders Experience with MS Office and Google Suite Flexibility to work some weekends and weeknights as needed. Bilingual French and English considered an asset Demonstrates and embodies the COC values of Accountability, Excellence, Fun, Respect and Bravery TERM This full-time internship will run from approximately January 2027 to April 2027, depending on the successful intern's availability and the academic calendar.
