Internal Audit & Controls Specialist / Assistant Specialist – İstanbul, Manisa/İzmir

We are looking for Internal Audit & Controls Specialists / Assistant Specialists to join our Zorlu Holding Internal Audit & Controls teams in Istanbul and Manisa. The role is responsible for supporting risk-based internal audit engagements, evaluating and improving internal control systems, identifying process improvement opportunities, and contributing to the governance, risk management and internal control framework across Zorlu Group companies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or preferably Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other relevant disciplines from reputable universities,
• Assistant Specialist: 0-2 years, Specialist: 2-5 years experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in internal audit, internal controls, process improvement, risk management, external audit or related areas.
• Experience in audit/advisory firms (preferably Internal Audit, Risk Advisory or Risk Assurance Services) and/or conglomerates, manufacturing, consumer goods, energy, retail, textile or related industries is an asset.
• CIA, CRMA, CISA or SMMM certification or willingness to pursue professional certifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong presentation and reporting skills.
• Advanced command of English.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications.
• Experience in process documentation, flowcharting, SAP, ERP systems and data analytics tools.
• Interest in or familiarity with digitalization and AI/GenAI-driven tools (e.g. RPA, data analytics platforms, AI-based audit tools) is an asset.
• No travel restrictions.
• Military service completed or exempt.
• Residency in İstanbul/ İzmir/ Manisa.

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of Internal Audit & Controls management;

• Participate in risk-based internal audit engagements across Group companies.
• Assist in preparing audit programs, performing fieldwork, documenting audit evidence and preparing audit reports.
• Support the evaluation of governance, risk management and internal control processes.
• Participate in identifying operational, financial, compliance and process risks together with related control deficiencies.
• Assist in documenting process inventories, process flowcharts and risk & control matrices.
• Support process owners in implementing agreed remediation action plans and follow up on action status.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and internal control enhancement projects.
• Perform data analysis and prepare presentations and reports for management.
• Provide support in advisory projects, special reviews and other assignments as required.
• Continuously develop knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management practices and internal control frameworks through on-the-job learning and training.
