We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Internal Communications Intern to join our team for the summer of 2026. In this role, you will support our internal communication efforts, helping to keep our remote team informed, engaged, and connected. You will assist with drafting company announcements, managing internal newsletters, updating communication channels, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. If you are a strong writer, organized, and interested in corporate communications or HR, this fully remote paid internship offers hands-on experience and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and edit internal communications, including company announcements, team updates, and leadership messages.
- Create engaging content for internal audiences, including written posts, visuals, and short videos.
- Ensure consistent tone, voice, and branding across all internal communications.
- Track and report on internal communication metrics (open rates, engagement, etc.).
- Assist in managing and distributing weekly or monthly internal newsletters.
- Help manage internal communication platforms (Slack, Teams, email, intranet, etc.).
- Organize and maintain communication calendars and schedules.
- Monitor engagement on internal channels and suggest improvements.
- Assist in planning and executing virtual team events, all-hands meetings, and recognition programs.
- Gather feedback from employees through surveys and suggest actionable insights.
- Support initiatives that promote company culture and remote team connection.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, engaging, and professional content.
- Impeccable proofreading and editing skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to create simple visuals (Canva, PowerPoint) for internal communications is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Genuine interest in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $40,000 – $45,000 per year.
