At Giacom, we believe great communication is at the heart of a great team member experience. As we continue to evolve, we're looking for an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join us to lead how we communicate across our business, ensuring every team member feels informed, connected and engaged.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our internal communications strategy and make a real impact on company culture, engagement and organisational effectiveness. Working closely with senior leaders and teams across the business, you'll help bring our priorities to life through clear, engaging and meaningful communication.

Please note, this position is a fixed-term contract for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave. While we're advertising early to secure the right person, the successful candidate will not start in post until the beginning of February 2027.

This is a hybrid role that can be based in our Bristol or Nelson office.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and deliver our internal communications strategy, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent and aligned to our culture and values.

  • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders across the business to plan and deliver impactful communications.

  • Create engaging content across a variety of channels, supporting business updates, change initiatives and colleague engagement activities.

  • Lead the delivery of our employee engagement survey and help drive meaningful action from the results.

  • Continuously improve our communication channels, tools and approaches using feedback, insights and engagement data.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping to raise the standard of internal communication across the organisation.

  • Measure and report on communication effectiveness, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and team member experience.

Your Experience

  • Outstanding attention to detail.

  • A creative mindset with the confidence to try new approaches and challenge conventional thinking.

  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to work independently.

  • Digitally confident and comfortable using a range of communication tools and technologies.

  • Collaborative, approachable and authentic in your style.

  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Confident making decisions and taking ownership of outcomes.

What's in it for you?

  • Investment in your future career with a variety of learning and development opportunities.

  • No dress code - embrace the freedom to bring your whole self to work.

  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. You'll even get your birthday off, too!

  • A pension plan for your future.

  • Complimentary refreshments in all our offices.
