The Purpose of Your Role:
Do you want to help advisors and employers make employer sponsored retirement plans easier, more effective, and more valuable for their people?
We are seeking a relationship-driven Internal Retirement Plan Wholesaler to support the growth of Sentinel Group’s retirement-plan business. In this role, you will partner closely with external wholesalers to develop advisor relationships and support new-business opportunities.
You will serve as a trusted resource for retirement plan advisors by helping them understand Sentinel’s retirement-plan capabilities, including open-architecture recordkeeping and administration, participant education, and applicable fiduciary-support services. You will help qualify opportunities, coordinate proposals and presentations, respond to advisor questions, maintain accurate pipeline information, and guide opportunities through the sales process toward a smooth handoff to implementation and service teams.
Ultimately, you will help Sentinel deliver personalized retirement-plan solutions that are easy for advisors, employers, and their employees. Sentinel’s advisor-partner model emphasizes customized plan design, in-house service, open architecture, and collaboration with advisors throughout the plan lifecycle.
What you’ll bring to Sentinel:
We are looking for a relationship-oriented professional who has the drive, judgment, and communication skills to help advisors and internal partners succeed. You are comfortable building relationships, asking thoughtful questions, managing details, and moving opportunities forward in a collaborative environment.
The retirement-plan industry is continually evolving, and we want someone who is flexible, curious, and willing to embrace change. You are able to balance commercial goals with accuracy, compliance, and a strong commitment to client and participant outcomes.
What you need to have:
Salary: $55,000 plus commission opportunities
At Sentinel, compensation is calibrated to your geographic location to reflect local market conditions; the posted salary range may vary based on where you live.

At Sentinel, we welcome people from diverse experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives — and we wouldn’t have it any other way. So even if you don’t meet every single requirement, please consider applying if you like what you see. Our priority is to find talented individuals who enrich our team culture, contribute with enthusiasm, and are passionate about what they do.
Sentinel is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes everyone to our team. If you need reasonable adjustments at any point in the application or interview process, please let us know.
