The Internal Sales Executive drives new 401(k) plan sales through financial advisors, working by phone, video and email. You will prospect and qualify advisors, run discovery and platform demos, build proposals, and move plans from first conversation to signed and onboarded.
You will work in close partnership with our external sales team, covering advisors and territories they can't reach in person and handing off relationships that need field coverage. This is a quota-carrying role reporting to the Head of Advisor Sales, and an early hire on a team we are building now, so your feedback will shape our playbook, messaging and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline: prospect financial advisors, RIAs and broker-dealer reps through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn and inbound leads from marketing.
  • Run the sale: lead discovery calls, deliver virtual platform demos, and qualify plan opportunities on size, timing and fit.
  • Price and propose: gather census and plan data, prepare proposals and fee illustrations, and coordinate with pricing and operations on non-standard requests.
  • Close and hand off: guide advisors and plan sponsors through paperwork and conversion, then hand off cleanly to implementation and service.
  • Partner with the field: support external wholesalers with demos, proposals and follow-up, and agree clear rules on who owns which advisor.
  • Grow advisor relationships: turn first-time advisors into repeat sources of plans with regular check-ins, education and new-plan campaigns.
  • Keep the CRM honest: log every activity, keep forecasts accurate, and report pipeline weekly.
  • Bring back the market: share competitive intel, objections and product gaps with sales leadership, marketing and product.
