More than a project role: you are the face to the customer

Are you as comfortable at the table with a premium car manufacturer as you are with your colleagues in Engineering? Do you want to guide programs yourself, from the first RFQ to series production? Then this role may be a good fit for you.

Power-Packer in Oldenzaal supplies technical systems and components to international customers in Automotive, Medical, Off-Highway and Aftermarket. BaanClaesen is looking for a Customer Program Manager to join the commercial team.

This is far from a standard inside sales job, and it is not a pure project role either. You work on long-term programs involving substantial investments, you visit customers and you are their main point of contact.

What will you do?

• Guide customer projects from RFQ to series production.
• Prepare quotations, lead price and contract negotiations, and close deals yourself with smaller customers and engineering changes.
• Visit customers and develop the relationship further.
• Align Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Logistics and Finance around the customer.
• Work together with the Key Account Manager on major, strategic accounts.

What do you bring?

• A bachelor's degree and around five years of experience in a commercial role or commercial project management in an industrial, technical B2B environment.
• Fluent German and good English. Coming from Germany and not yet speaking Dutch? That is no obstacle to getting started.
• Automotive experience is an advantage.
• You live in the Twente region or the adjacent German border area.

You feel at home in an energetic team with a driven manager.

What do you get in return?

• An indicative salary of €70,000 to €80,000 gross per year, depending on your experience.
• Your own customers and programs in an international, technical environment.
• Hybrid working: three days in the office in Oldenzaal, two days from home.
• A team of Dutch and German colleagues. Candidates from Germany receive a Dutch employment contract.
