Overview
The International Mobility Specialist is responsible for interpreting, analyzing, and executing the Bank’s international assignment and international business traveler frameworks. This role manages vendor relationships and supports the effective delivery of international mobility solutions.
This role serves as a trusted advisor and escalation point for cross-border Human Resource (HR) matters in the US/ Americas region partnering closely with HR Business Partners and Business Advisors, Recruiters and HR vendors.
Reporting to the US International Mobility Manager, the position supports long-term and short-term assignments, permanent transfers and international new hires as well international business travellers.

What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality advisory support to internal stakeholders on cross-border HR matters and support the HRI process for both assignees, permanent transfers and international new hires; Advise HR, managers, and stakeholders on Deutsche Bank’s relocation framework and business traveler policies (e.g. TRIP)
Manage day-to-day mobility cases for expatriate and local-to-local employees, responding to queries and escalations from employees, managers, and HR partners related to tax, immigration, housing, medical coverage, and assignment benefits
Support deferred compensation and year-end mobility processes, and partner with HR Business Advisors, Compensation Advisors, and other reward stakeholders on assignment-specific compensation matters
Partner with tax advisors, payroll, and HR Reward teams to mitigate risk and ensure accurate reporting and compliance for business travelers
Advise and educate the Americas HR community on developments in international mobility, including tax, social security, immigration, and employment law considerations
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree and moderate experience in HR, payroll, immigration, and/or business traveler compliance
Experience working in a multinational environment with the ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations
Experience working with external vendors such as immigration counsel, tax providers, and relocation partners
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues, provide practical guidance, and escalate appropriately when needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville FL or New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $75,000 to $119,500 and New York is $85,000 to $129,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
