Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing new international tax laws or regulatory reporting requirements and assessing impact on the firm.
  • Model international tax components (GILTI, FDII, BEAT) and complete related filings (Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, etc.).
  • Coordinate with regional tax managers to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings and regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain international tax compliance calendars and track filing deadlines across applicable jurisdictions.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in international tax compliance and reporting.
  • Manage the collection, coordination, and review of information, including foreign tax packages, needed to support financial and income tax audits and other jurisdiction-specific tax inquiries.
  • Conduct technical research on tax issues. Provide support for special projects and cross-functional assignments as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation or higher required
  • 4+ years accounting experience in a multinational corporation or in a professional services organization required
  • CPA Certification preferred
  • Previous tax accounting experience in a global organization preferred
  • International tax knowledge and financial and accounting systems experience
  • Understanding of ASC740 and US GAAP concepts
  • Responds to inquiries quickly with professionalism and tact

  • Maintains high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to organize, manage, prioritize, and handle numerous projects/tasks and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Works well as an individual and as part of a team, willing and eager to help others and share knowledge and skills
  • Willing to be flexible and committed to strict reporting and tax deadlines
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
