International Team Lead
FULL TIME - LGI
Position Title: International Team Lead
Department: LGI
Reports to: International Area Leader
This position is: Full-Time; Support Raised
Location: Thailand, Hat Yai
The International Team Leader (ITL) shepherds a cross-cultural team engaged in mobilizing the local church and individual believers to catalyze church planting movements among unreached people groups. As a servant-leader, the TL cultivates a Christ-centered team culture, facilitates spiritual development, drives strategic vision, and develops teammates holistically towards accomplishing the team vision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Personal

- Maintain your own physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Develop and maintain a network of ministry partners who pray, support, and encourage me and my ministry.
Language and Culture
- Learn the local language to the level of fluency required to understand the local culture and worldview.
- Be an active learner of the culture.
Mobilization Ministry
- Develop relationships with key national leaders and lead strategic conversations with them to create opportunities for CPM engagement.
- Facilitate the development of curriculum and tools that advance the mobilization ministry.
- Mobilize, train, and coach national believers in mindsets, methodologies, and tools that align with CPM/UPG.
- Actively learn CPM tools and best practices and consult with CPM practitioners to inform team strategy and approach.
Regional Leadership and Networking
- Participates in regional meetings to coordinate strategy with the AL/RD and other TLs.
- Builds relationships with other teams, organizations, and networks to further mobilize national churches
LG Organizational Responsibilities
- Prioritize regular rhythms of rest (a weekly sabbath, days off, and a monthly Day of Prayer and Evaluation)
- Create a Personal Development Plan (PDP) each year with assistance from your supervisor.
- Attend Launch Global conferences and retreats to engage with staff.
- Be accountable to your supervisor through regular communication and reporting.
- Receive coaching and input from your supervisor.
- Engage in peer coaching with other TLs.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other LG TLs in Thailand.
- Complete the required training and necessary administration tasks, as required by LG or your supervisor.
Team Leading (organized by Lead, Develop, Care)
- LEAD
- Lead in a way that is consistent with servant leadership.
- Model and encourage intentional prayer for the ministry of the team, including praying regularly for each teammate.
- Facilitate the team meeting regularly.
- Develop, implement, and periodically evaluate a team ministry vision, strategy, and goals in consultation with your supervisor and team.
- Oversee team visa responsibilities.
- Coordinate and communicate decisions for major team events and organizational topics (e.g., HMA and Sabbatical).
- Facilitate the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
- Oversee teammates’ individual language-culture learning and ministry activities.
- Maintain monthly DOPE debriefs with team members.
- Evaluate each teammate annually using HR’s Annual Review system.
- Manage team disciplinary actions.
- Delegate projects and tasks to teammates.
- Allocate resources towards various projects and opportunities (trainings, visa platform, etc.)
- Develop a team Crisis Plan and designate an Acting TL or emergency point person when unavailable (e.g., home assignment).
- DEVELOP
- Oversee the formation of annual personal development plans (PDPs) for teammates.
- Facilitate the development of team members in character, leadership, spiritual life, ministry skills, and spiritual gifts.
- Provide accountability, ministry coaching, and strategy coaching to teammates.
- Resource teammates with opportunities for care and development.
- Help teammates clarify their roles, maximizing their contribution to the team’s overall vision and goals.
- CARE
- Shepherd and care holistically for teammates.
- Foster a healthy team culture of spiritual thriving, abiding, and prayer, in which teammates care for one another and relationships are marked by unity, trust, and love.

Education and Experience
- At least 4 years of experience in which you have demonstrated leadership.
- Has completed 1 year on staff with Launch Global in the US, or equivalent.
- Completed a leader development process with their local church
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Maintain personal support.
- Participated in a 9 month training group with Launch Global in the US.
- Understand, affirm and adhere to Launch Global’s Statement of Faith.
- Agree to uphold Launch Global’s Vision and Mission.

- Mission: Launch Global exists to mobilize churches to develop laborers and leaders who multiply healthy churches among unreached people groups.
