Play a key role in supporting the transformation of OCBC's Cards and Digital Payments business. As a Merchant Business & Digital Payments Intern, you'll be part of a dynamic team driving process improvements and operational excellence through a major card replatforming initiative.

You'll have the opportunity to gain exposure to end-to-end business processes, develop project management and organisational skills, and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency, governance, and customer experience within one of the bank's key growth businesses.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be organised, proactive, and eager to learn. You'll work closely with stakeholders across business and operational teams to document processes, support transformation initiatives, and contribute to process improvement efforts.

Your ability to manage tasks effectively, communicate clearly, and maintain attention to detail will be crucial in supporting the successful delivery of project objectives and business outcomes.


What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Process Documentation: support the review, development, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure processes are accurately documented and aligned with business requirements
  • Process Re-engineering: assist in reviewing existing workflows and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Card Replatform Initiative: contribute to process transformation activities arising from the card replatform programme, including documentation, analysis, and implementation support
  • Project Coordination: support project planning, tracking, and coordination activities to ensure key deliverables are completed on schedule
  • Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with business and operational teams to gather information, validate requirements, and support process enhancement initiatives
  • Business Analysis: assist in understanding and documenting end-to-end business processes across the Merchant Business & Digital Payments function
  • Administrative Support: support the preparation of project materials, reports, presentations, and meeting documentation
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: provide support on other business transformation and operational improvement initiatives as assigned

Who You Work With

Global Consumer Financial Services helps individuals and businesses achieve their financial aspirations through innovative banking solutions and digital experiences. Within Card Payments & Personal Loans, the Merchant Business & Digital Payments team is responsible for delivering payment solutions, supporting merchant partnerships, and driving digital payment capabilities that enable convenient and secure transactions for customers.

You'll work alongside experienced professionals across business, operations, and project management functions, gaining valuable exposure to how payment solutions are managed, enhanced, and transformed to support business growth and customer needs.
