Internship Product Development Adhesives & Sealants

About this Position

Join our Product Development team in Düsseldorf and develop innovative sealant technologies. This internship combines hands-on experience in industrial R&D, laboratory work in formulation development and testing with the implementation of modern digital laboratory workflows. You'll work on a defined development project while supporting ongoing innovation activities.

What you´ll do

• Develop and evaluate adhesive and sealant formulations in the lab
• Support product development projects through formulation, end-capping and testing
• Plan and conduct experiments within defined project scopes
• Perform adhesion, mechanical and rheological testing
• Analyze experimental results and identify improvement opportunities
• Document laboratory data using modern digital tools
• Support implementation of digital lab workflows
• Present project results and recommendations to technical stakeholders

What makes you a good fit

• Master's student in chemistry, biochemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, industrial chemistry or related field
• First laboratory experience through research projects or previous internships
• Fluent English language skills, German is beneficial
• Strong interest in formulation science and product development
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• High affinity for digital tools and modern ways of working
• Structured and analytical approach to problem solving with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Availability as of now for 6 months

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1050-2270. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
