Your main mission: The Systems Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, including computer systems, networks, servers, peripherals, and related technologies. The role ensures the reliable operation of hardware and software while providing timely technical support to end users. The Systems Technician also assists with system upgrades, security, and documentation to maintain a stable and secure IT environment.
✔️ What will your day-to-day look like?
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct scheduled and surprise inventory audits across all hotel departments.
- Perform stock reconciliations and investigate inventory variances, shortages, and overages.
- Monitor inventory movements and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.
- Identify risks related to pilferage, theft, and inventory losses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and implement inventory control processes to strengthen accountability and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare inventory audit reports, variance analyses, and recommendations for management.
- Work closely with Department Heads, Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance, and Security to resolve inventory issues and improve controls.
- Ensure inventory records are accurate and that stock transactions are properly documented and authorized.
- Train and guide inventory custodians and departmental supervisors on inventory control procedures.
- Support internal and external audits and assist with continuous process improvements.

Who is the ideal candidate for this position?
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining effective inventory control systems across the hotel to safeguard company assets. The role oversees inventory audits, monitors stock accuracy, investigates inventory discrepancies, and implements controls to minimize pilferage, waste, and inventory losses while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in inventory control, cost control, auditing, or warehouse operations, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Experience conducting inventory audits and investigating stock discrepancies.
Knowledge:
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and internal control principles.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
