The Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller / Warehouse Lead / Stock Auditor to oversee inventory accuracy, warehouse coordination, stock control, and audit activities. This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and organizational skills. You will collaborate with warehouse, procurement, logistics, finance, and operations teams to maintain accurate stock records, investigate discrepancies, and improve inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, receipts, transfers, adjustments, and dispatch activities.
• Coordinate cycle counts, physical stock checks, inventory reconciliations, and periodic stock audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, stock reports, warehouse documentation, and audit trails.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure accurate stock movements.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, damaged, and obsolete inventory and provide recommendations to management.
• Track inventory KPIs including stock accuracy, shrinkage, availability, and adjustment trends.
• Support warehouse process improvements, inventory control procedures, and operational compliance.
• Prepare inventory analysis, variance reports, audit findings, and performance updates for management.
• Lead and support warehouse personnel while promoting accuracy, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stock auditing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse procedures, stock reconciliation, and audit processes.
• Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory accuracy controls, stock management, warehouse safety, and supply chain best practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Excel, inventory software, and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate operational issues, and implement practical corrective actions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Demonstrated ability to improve inventory accuracy, reduce stock discrepancies, and strengthen warehouse controls.
