Build strong partnerships. Make informed decisions. Deliver real impact.
At TD SYNNEX, we're looking for an Inventory Planning & Procurement Analyst to take ownership of inventory planning, procurement and financial performance across an assigned portfolio of leading technology vendors.
This is more than a purchasing role. You'll play an important part in ensuring we have the right products available to meet customer demand, while carefully managing inventory investment, commercial opportunities and financial risk.
Working closely with Commercial teams, vendors and colleagues across the business, you'll use data, insight and sound judgement to make informed decisions, challenge assumptions and proactively resolve issues.
We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding the bigger picture, takes ownership of their responsibilities and is motivated by making a measurable difference.
If you're analytical, commercially aware and enjoy working collaboratively to solve problems, we'd love to hear from you.
We’re not here to sell you a job. We’re here to invite you into a culture that values curiosity, celebrates diverse perspectives, and believes that great leadership starts with listening. If you're passionate about collaboration, building strong relationships and delivering results with accountability and clear communication, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

- Four Business Resource Groups supporting inclusion and belonging.
- Clear progression paths and benchmarked salaries.

We're proud to be a Disability Confident employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you need adjustments during the recruitment process, just ask.
What You'll Be Doing
Inventory Planning & Forecasting
- Take ownership of inventory planning and procurement across your assigned vendor portfolio, balancing customer demand, stock availability, inventory investment and risk.
- Prepare accurate inventory forecasts and financial outlooks, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Review demand forecasts, sales performance and supply requirements, challenging assumptions and identifying material variances.
- Support our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, translating agreed demand into effective inventory and supply plans.
- Proactively identify and address potential stock shortages, excess inventory and other planning exceptions.
Procurement & Inventory Management
- Execute purchasing activities accurately and efficiently, in line with agreed supply requirements, inventory budgets and approval controls.
- Monitor inventory performance against agreed targets and take appropriate action when performance deviates from plan.
- Actively manage aged, excess and slow-moving inventory, working with Commercial teams and vendors to develop and deliver effective reduction plans.
- Ensure procurement decisions support customer requirements while protecting inventory investment and minimising financial exposure.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, pricing and inventory information within relevant systems.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Produce accurate inventory and inventory-cost outlooks, supporting effective financial planning and budget management.
- Identify, understand and manage inventory-related financial risks, including price changes, price protection, depreciation and other inventory costs.
- Complete required financial reconciliations accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Understand and apply relevant vendor agreement provisions, working with Commercial and Finance colleagues to mitigate or recover costs.
- Support effective inventory budget and Open-to-Buy management through accurate forecasting and informed procurement decisions.
Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build strong, productive relationships with vendors, Commercial teams and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in regular business and vendor planning reviews, providing clear insight into inventory performance, supply requirements and financial risks.
- Work collaboratively to understand commercial opportunities, customer requirements and changing market conditions.
- Confidently and constructively challenge assumptions or proposed decisions where inventory or financial risks are identified.
- Take ownership of issues, working with relevant stakeholders to achieve timely and practical resolutions.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls and simplify ways of working.
- Investigate recurring issues, understand their root causes and help develop sustainable solutions rather than relying on repeated manual intervention.
- Support the implementation of new planning systems, tools, automation and improved working practices.
- Contribute to projects and improvement initiatives, taking ownership of agreed actions and deliverables.
- Share knowledge, support colleagues and contribute positively to the continued development of the IPP team.
What You'll Bring
