Salary Range: $55,800.00 To $65,700.00 Annually Updated: October 1, 2026 Title: Investment Analyst Staff Group: Finance Reports To: Senior Investment Analyst Location: Boston, Massachusetts (hybrid onsite / remote) Job Category: Program Specialist II Hours/Week: 35 Purpose We are seeking a motivated early-career investment professional to join our team as an Investment Analyst. This role provides responsibility for analyzing and reporting on values and impact investments, supporting proxy voting and company engagement, conducting climate analysis and measurement, and engaging with community and climate justice investments in the context of a sophisticated endowment fund. The Analyst will contribute to stewardship activities and support the ongoing development of the Common Endowment Fund’s investment and stewardship work. Principal Responsibilities Values Analysis and Reporting: Produce reports and analyses on the Common Endowment Fund's (CEF) carbon footprint, Climate Justice and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) exposures. Support ongoing climate analysis, including emissions measurement, transition assessment, and climate-related risk and opportunity evaluation across the portfolio. Proxy Voting and Stewardship: Support execution and documentation of proxy voting activities in alignment with UUA policies and stewardship priorities. Assist in developing proxy voting guidelines and analysis of company engagements and shareholder proposals. Maintain records and provide analysis/research for the CEF's company advocacy and engagement activities. Community Investment Research: Maintain the investment pipeline, and conduct analysis and support development of Investment Memos, including financial characteristics, investment structure, and impact alignment. Assist in tracking existing investments, monitoring impact metrics, and preparing portfolio and pipeline updates. Manager Commentary Review: Ensure receipt and review of all ongoing CEF manager commentaries and reports. Performs other duties in the Investment Office as requested by supervisor, Vice President or President. Qualifications This position has a midpoint of $65,700. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and geographical location, with offers potentially ranging from 10-15% higher or lower than the midpoint. Requirements include: 3-5 years of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Economics, Business, Sustainability, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in another field combined with relevant investment, financial, analytical, or related experience. Excellent written and verbal financial or investment communication abilities. Demonstrated interest in sustainable, impact and / or community investing , and / or stewardship and company engagement . Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
