Investment Analyst / Corporate Finance Analyst / Financial Risk Analyst

Role Description This part-time remote role combines responsibilities of an Investment Analyst, Corporate Finance Analyst, and Financial Risk Analyst. The analyst will support evaluation of new and existing investments by building and maintaining financial models, conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, and preparing clear, concise reports and presentations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing financial statements, assessing market and sector trends, performing scenario and sensitivity analyses, and assisting in portfolio performance monitoring. The role will also involve identifying key risks, supporting risk mitigation strategies, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to inform capital allocation and strategic planning decisions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Investments and Portfolio Management skills for evaluating opportunities and monitoring performance.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for interpreting data, performing scenario analysis, and drawing actionable insights.
• Candidates should possess solid Finance and Financial Modeling skills for building models, valuing projects, and analyzing financial statements.
• Relevant skills such as proficiency with Excel or other modeling tools, familiarity with corporate finance concepts, and understanding of risk assessment frameworks are beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree or progress toward a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting are required.
• Experience with investment analysis, corporate finance, or financial risk management, including internships or project work, is a plus.
