We're looking for driven, analytical, and detail-obsessed students to join our Investment Banking Internship and gain hands-on experience in the world of deals โ€” from M&A and capital markets to valuations and pitch books.

About the Internship

As an Investment Banking Intern, you'll work on realistic deal-cycle challenges inspired by real investment banks: analyzing targets, valuing companies, building pitch materials, and supporting mock M&A and financing transactions.

You'll learn how bankers evaluate businesses, structure deals, and present recommendations to clients and deal teams.

Responsibilities

* Analyze potential M&A targets and strategic buyers for mock sell-side and buy-side mandates.

* Build three-statement financial models for practice companies.

* Perform discounted cash flow (DCF) valuations with sensitivity analyses.

* Build comparable-company (trading comps) and precedent-transaction analyses.

* Construct football-field valuation summaries to frame deal pricing.

* Build leveraged buyout (LBO) models with debt schedules and returns analysis.

* Draft mock pitch book slides and executive summaries for hypothetical deals.

* Prepare Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs) for mock companies.

* Run accretion/dilution analyses for hypothetical mergers.

* Research industry trends, deal activity, and comparable transactions.

* Build buyer lists and track outreach for mock sell-side processes.

* Perform due diligence checklist reviews on mock target companies.

* Analyze capital structures and financing options (debt vs. equity).

* Build scenario models for best-case, base-case, and downside cases.

* Track deal pipelines and manage mock data rooms.

* Draft teasers and one-page company profiles for outreach.

* Analyze synergies and pro forma financials for hypothetical mergers.

* Research IPO processes and draft mock S-1-style company overviews.

* Build covenant and credit analysis summaries for debt financings.

* Use AI tools for financial research, modeling, and document drafting.

* Present deal theses, valuations, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

* Current student or recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Strong interest in investment banking, M&A, and capital markets.

* Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable with long-form financial work.

* Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel or Google Sheets); formulas and modeling a plus.

* Good written and verbal communication skills, including slide-style presentation.

* Ability to work under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.

* Interest in deals, valuation, and corporate strategy.

* Familiarity with financial statements (income, balance sheet, cash flow) is a plus but not required.

* Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms is a plus.

* Previous professional finance experience is not required.

What You'll Gain

* Hands-on experience running a simulated investment banking deal process.

* Practical experience building DCF, comps, precedent-transaction, and LBO models.

* Experience drafting pitch books, CIMs, teasers, and deal memos.

* Understanding of M&A deal cycles, buy-side and sell-side processes.

* Experience analyzing capital structures and financing options.

* Understanding of synergy analysis and accretion/dilution modeling.

* Experience researching industries and comparable transactions.

* Practical exposure to due diligence and data-room workflows.

* Experience using AI and modern finance tools.

* Portfolio-ready investment banking projects.

* Personalized AI feedback on your work.

* Professional certificate upon successful completion.

* Mentorship and weekly learning sessions.

* Opportunity to strengthen your portfolio, resume, and interview readiness.
