About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded, and strategic Investment Director to lead investment activities, evaluate opportunities, and support the company's long-term investment strategy in the UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and assessing investment opportunities, leading financial and commercial analysis, managing investment processes, and working closely with senior management, investors, financial institutions, advisors, and other stakeholders.

The role requires strong investment judgment, financial-analysis capabilities, market knowledge, and the ability to evaluate opportunities from both financial and strategic perspectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities across relevant sectors and markets.
• Conduct detailed financial, commercial, market, and strategic analysis of investment opportunities.
• Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, forecasts, and investment scenarios.
• Assess investment returns, risks, cash flows, valuations, and potential exit opportunities.
• Lead investment due-diligence processes and coordinate external advisors where required.
• Prepare investment memoranda, business cases, investment proposals, and recommendations.
• Present investment opportunities and recommendations to senior management, investment committees, or the Board.
• Lead negotiations with investment partners, shareholders, financial institutions, and other counterparties.
• Manage relationships with investors, banks, advisors, consultants, and strategic partners.
• Monitor existing investments and evaluate financial and operational performance.
• Develop portfolio-monitoring frameworks and investment-performance reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve the performance and value of existing investments.
• Monitor market, industry, economic, and competitive developments.
• Conduct research on sectors, companies, markets, and emerging investment opportunities.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and other corporate-investment activities where applicable.
• Coordinate transaction execution with Legal, Finance, Tax, Risk, and external advisors.
