Role Description The Investment Research Lead is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role is responsible for leading in-depth research and analysis on investment opportunities across PAC Holdings’ target sectors and markets. Day-to-day tasks include conducting sector and company analysis, building and maintaining financial models, preparing investment memos and presentations, and monitoring portfolio performance. The Investment Research Lead will collaborate closely with investment, finance, and strategy teams to support deal origination, due diligence, and investment decision-making. The role also involves tracking market trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic indicators to inform PAC Holdings’ investment strategies.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge, with an understanding of investment principles and capital markets.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for evaluating industries, companies, and macroeconomic trends.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements analysis and Financial Reporting interpretation.
• Candidates should possess experience in Financial Planning, including forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel, with familiarity in research tools and data platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex analysis clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance investment environment.
