Summary

Do you love telling a company's story in numbers? Are you energized by financial markets and connecting with the investment community? Our mission at Yelp is to connect people with great local businesses, and that starts with people like you. As a publicly traded company (NYSE: YELP), Yelp relies on clear, credible and consistent communication with shareholders, analysts and the broader investment community.

The Investor Relations team is a small, high-impact group that works closely with executive leadership, Finance, Legal and Communications. As an Investor Relations Manager, you'll report directly to the Director of Investor Relations and help shape how Yelp presents its strategy, financial performance and long-term value to the market. Working side by side with the Director, you'll get exposure across the business and to our senior leadership team. As you progress in your career, you will unlock increased compensation, title, and responsibilities to keep you moving in the right direction.

Yelp is where you can be part of an empowering mission and build a rewarding career that grows with you. Yelp is powered by a global community of collaborative people with shared values. We're tenacious individuals who believe in our mission to connect people to great local businesses. Yelp is a remote workplace where your work makes a difference, where you are seen as a whole person, and where you will grow with our support and guidance. If you're looking for a career (not a job) with a company that is invested in you as a whole person, from personal development, compensation, training, and more, we know just the place.

We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.

What you'll do:

  • Help drive the quarterly earnings process, assist with the shareholder letter, earnings call script, Q&A materials and investor presentation.
  • Partner with the Director of Investor Relations to plan and carry out Yelp's IR strategy, including investor targeting, conference schedules and executive meeting prep. You'll take on more ownership of investor conversations as you grow in the role.
  • Be crucial in developing Yelp's investor messaging, making sure our strategy, business drivers and financial results are told clearly and consistently.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with buy-side investors and sell-side analysts, including inbound inquiries, meeting logistics and follow-ups.
  • Talk to investors at conferences, non-deal roadshows and one-on-one meetings, both alongside executives and eventually on your own.
  • Provide leadership with timely insights on market sentiment, analyst models, consensus estimates, peer performance and shareholder base trends.
  • Work collaboratively with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, Corporate Communications and business leaders to gather and validate information for external disclosures.
  • Become an expert in Yelp's business model, key operating metrics and competitive landscape, as well as industry and macro trends that affect investor perception.
  • Achieve a well-run, compliant IR program by helping maintain the IR website, supporting the annual shareholder meeting and following Regulation FD and disclosure best practices.

What it takes to succeed:

  • You're a clear communicator who can turn complex financial and operating information into a compelling, accurate story.
  • You care about precision, integrity and building trust with the investment community.
  • You call yourself a learner who stays curious about markets, competitors and new ways to tell Yelp's story.
  • You enjoy working cross-functionally and handling many priorities under tight timelines, especially during earnings season.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance or asset management.
  • You're well-versed in financial statement analysis, valuation and financial modeling, and have a solid understanding of public company reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
  • You have a solid foundation in Excel and PowerPoint, plus experience with tools like Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ or IR CRM platforms (e.g., Q4, S&P Capital Access).
  • You have experience with technology, internet or marketplace companies (preferred). An MBA and/or CFA designation is a plus.

What you'll get:

  • Effective your first day: Full medical, vision, and dental
  • 15 days PTO (accrual begins on date of hire and increases with 2+ years of tenure thereafter), 12 paid holidays, plus one floating holiday
  • Up to 14 weeks of parental leave
  • Monthly wellness subsidy
  • Work from home reimbursement
  • Flexible spending account
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • Employee stock purchase plan
  • Compensation range for this position is $117,000.00- $196,000.00 annually. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
