Ipsos is seeking a Research Intern for our qualitative team

Are you passionate about understanding what drives human behaviour? And are you considering a future career in consulting and research? Join Ipsos Denmark's qualitative team as a Research Intern beginning in January/February 2027.

At Ipsos, we help companies such as LEGO, TV 2, Novonesis, and Carlsberg understand what matters to people. By combining ethnographic, qualitative, and digital research methods, we uncover the needs and tensions that shape people's everyday lives. We then translate these insights into clear recommendations that inform innovation, communication, product development, and business strategy.

As a Research Intern in our qualitative department, you will join a team of anthropologists, sociologists, strategists, and qualitative specialists who share a passion for understanding people and translating deep human understanding into actionable recommendations for our clients.

We offer an internship where you become an integrated part of the team from day one, working on real client projects, and gaining hands-on experience with qualitative research. We are committed to creating a learning environment with plenty of opportunities to shape your internship around your interests and academic background.

As a Research Intern, you will gain practical experience with:

  • Conducting fieldwork such as interviews, focus groups, online ethnography, and observations
  • Participating in qualitative analysis, pattern recognition and the development of insights and recommendations for clients
  • Assisting with preparation of reports and presentations of qualitative findings
  • Working with digital research methods such as social listening and AI Visibility with our bespoke AI tools and industry-leading solutions to strengthen your analytical capabilities

Typically, you will work in a project team alongside a consultant and a project manager. You will have your own independent tasks and play an important role in delivering projects from start to finish.

You will succeed in the role if you:

  • Are passionate about understanding human behaviour, attitudes, and motivations
  • Have strong analytical skills and enjoy working with qualitative data
  • Are comfortable working in PowerPoint, as many of our reports and proposals are developed there
  • Can work independently and take ownership of your tasks
  • Thrive in a collaborative and high paced environment

We imagine that you are studying a social science discipline with a strong methodological foundation. This could be anthropology, sociology, applied cultural analysis, or a related field. Experience or interest in video production is considered an advantage, as video-based deliverables are often part of our projects.

What we offer

  • A blended learning approach combining on-the-job training, tailored workshops, webinars, and continuous feedback
  • A dedicated buddy and mentor to support your professional development
  • Participation in our Intern Community alongside other Ipsos interns, including a fellow intern in the qualitative team to learn and grow alongside

  • A 5-month internship
  • Monthly compensation of DKK 3,770
  • Hybrid work environment with flexibility to work from home
  • Free lunch and lots of fun social activities with Copenhagen’s best colleagues
  • Potential for permanent employment after graduation
