Job Description Software Development Engineer (Learning Systems / LMS) Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite) Pay Rate: $50/HR W2 This is not a traditional Software Development Engineer building customer-facing applications. The hiring manager is looking for someone who can improve and support the company's Learning Management System (LMS) used by engineering employees for training. The person should understand LMS platforms, SQL, data analytics, automation, APIs, AI tools, and front-end development . They will improve learning systems, automate manual work, analyze training data, coordinate with IT, perform UAT testing, and help build better learning experiences. The manager wants someone who can answer questions like: How can we improve our LMS? Why are users not completing training? Can we automate certificate generation? Can AI help employees find learning content? Can we connect multiple learning systems through APIs? Can we build better dashboards using SQL? Can we improve the learner experience? They need someone who solves business problems using technology.
