In Singapore, AIA focuses on enabling individuals and families to live healthier, longer, better lives through comprehensive life and health protection and long-term financial solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting clients, conducting needs analysis, preparing tailored financial plans, and recommending appropriate takaful and other Islamic financial products. The role involves ongoing portfolio reviews, monitoring market and regulatory developments, and ensuring advice remains consistent with Islamic finance principles and AIA’s compliance standards. The advisor will also participate in training, collaborate with the wider advisory team, and contribute to outreach and education initiatives that promote financial literacy and ethical financial planning.

  • Relevant professional certifications in financial advisory or wealth management (e.g., CFPCM, CIWM, or local equivalent) are beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Islamic finance principles and frameworks; experience with takaful or other Shariah-compliant products is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • High level of integrity, commitment to ethical conduct, and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in Singapore.
  • Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred; additional training in Islamic finance is a plus.
