ISOlutions IT Business Analyst/Product Owner Role We are looking for a motivated IT Business Analyst to join our mission-driven team through a home-based fellowship position. This role is a unique opportunity to: gain deep insights into ISO’s inner workings and contribute to the evolution of its digital services; collaborate with leading experts in the field of standardization; grow professionally through meaningful, hands-on contributions to a critical ISO programme. ISO/CS is seeking an experienced and technically proficient IT Business Analysis Fellow to join the ISOlutions Programme at a pivotal time in its evolution. This is a unique opportunity for a professional deeply familiar with standardization processes to contribute to the transformation and enhancement of ISO’s digital services. ISOlutions provides SaaS offerings to ISO members, repurposing ISO systems for national standardization. As we launch new products—particularly in online standards development—and review the overall ISOlutions framework, the Fellow will play a critical role in aligning these efforts with ISO’s strategic goals. Key responsibilities Act as a bridge between ISO members and the ISOlutions team, providing insights into user needs and strategic business analysis. Evaluate and contribute to the rollout of new ISOlutions products, with a focus on online standards development as well as ISO products with a potential to be included in the ISOlutions suite. Support the review and optimization of the ISOlutions framework to better enable ISO strategies and enhance member engagement. Analyze and document key standardization processes and opportunities to harmonize to inform product development and service delivery improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, technical leads, and ISO stakeholders. Provide detailed insights into best practices for digital maturity in standardization, contributing to long-term service enhancements Report to: Head of Project Portfolio and Services, Information Technology and Digital Services Qualification and Experience Experience in business analysis within the field of standardization. Good understanding of standardization processes, ideally gained through years of professional experience with an ISO member organization. Technical background, with familiarity in SaaS models and digital transformation strategies, a strong plus. Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend impactful solutions. Effective communicator with experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration. Strategic mindset, capable of aligning technical services with broader organizational objectives. Skills Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset, as well as the ability to explore different solutions, their risks, benefits, and impact. Organised, proactive and creative approach to identifying challenges and proposing effective technological or process solutions. Understanding of IT systems and their integration with business processes. Team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and foster strong relationships. Fluency in English, with strong written and oral communication is required. French would be a plus. Hands-on personality, autonomous, open and inclusive.
