IT Automation & AI Systems Engineer

Reporting to: Head of IT Operations

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced IT Automation & AI Systems Engineer to help drive automation, AI adoption, and internal platform development across a growing international technology organization.

This role sits at the intersection of Snowflake, AI, automation, and enterprise systems. You'll work with teams across HR, Finance, Security, Engineering, and Operations to build scalable solutions, streamline processes, and develop AI-powered tools that improve productivity and decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain automations across business and operational systems.
• Design integrations between enterprise applications, data platforms, and AI services.
• Develop AI-powered tools, assistants, and workflow solutions.
• Support and enhance internal platforms used for reporting, governance, and operations.
• Troubleshoot data, integration, API, and automation issues.
• Partner with business stakeholders to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Support AI governance, monitoring, and adoption initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data platforms.
• Experience building or supporting solutions using:
• OpenAI
• Azure OpenAI
• Anthropic Claude
• Gemini
• AWS Bedrock
• Experience with AI solutions such as:
• copilots
• chatbots
• RAG applications
• AI assistants
• AI-powered analytics
• Experience integrating systems through APIs, webhooks, and SaaS platforms.
• Python and/or PowerShell scripting skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

• Text-to-SQL or analytics assistant experience.
• Slack integrations or chatbot development.
• Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, SAML, or SCIM.
• Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
• Salesforce, NetSuite, Power BI, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• SOC2 or ISO27001 exposure.
