Reporting to the Manager of Business Analysis, you will act as a strategic partner to the Finance teams and serve as a key liaison between business users and IT teams. Your expertise will support decision-making, optimize financial processes, and ensure that technology solutions meet the organization's performance, compliance, and financial visibility requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Transportation teams to identify improvement opportunities and optimize end-to-end financial processes.
  • Lead requirements discovery activities and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand, analyze, challenge, and prioritize business needs, while driving stakeholder alignment and decision-making in environments where business processes, ownership, requirements, or governance structures may not be fully defined.
  • Analyze and map business processes, workflows, data, system integrations, and ERP capabilities to recommend solutions that optimize future-state processes and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Develop and maintain business requirements, process documentation, user stories, and other analysis artifacts to support project delivery and solution validation.
  • Lead business and technology initiatives from intake through implementation, demonstrating leadership in problem-solving, engaging the appropriate resources, and coordinating stakeholders, project managers, vendors, testing, risks, decisions, and deployment activities to ensure successful delivery and business outcomes.
  • Plan and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support users throughout the testing process, and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience, with significant experience supporting finance, ERP, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead requirements discovery, stakeholder alignment, and solution definition in fast-paced environments with evolving or inconsistently applied business processes, competing priorities, and varying levels of organizational maturity.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity, alignment, and decision-making with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in vendor-led implementation environments and collaborating with external solution providers.
  • Experience supporting business transformation initiatives within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environments is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience supporting financial systems implementation and improvement initiatives, combined with a strong understanding of core financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Close, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Infor M3 is a strong asset) and with tools such as SQL, Anaplan, or other financial planning, analytics, and reporting solutions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build consensus across business and technology teams and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to structure complex problems, produce clear and rigorous deliverables, and effectively manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business analysis and problem-solving, combined with curiosity, autonomy, and proactivity to challenge assumptions, understand business needs, and identify effective solutions.
  • Business Analysis certification (asset).
  • Fluency in both English (required) and French (preferred).

Fluency in English is required to ensure adequate support with English-speaking colleagues and partners within the scope of the position’s responsibilities.
