Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with a background in oil & gas, refineries, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, or industrial operations.
The candidate will support an enterprise software upgrade and rollout across multiple refinery locations, focusing on applications used for laboratory operations and product quality management. This role will bridge refinery business users, IT teams, and external software vendors to ensure successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Work directly with refinery, laboratory, quality, and plant operations users.
- Coordinate with software vendors and cross-functional IT teams.
- Support COTS application upgrades, implementations, and multi-site rollouts.
- Develop user stories, functional specifications, and process documentation.
- Coordinate and support UAT, defect tracking, and issue resolution.
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
Preferred Experience:
- LIMS, MES, QMS, or industrial/refinery applications.
- Manufacturing or plant operations systems.
- Power BI or Tableau.
Important: Candidates with industrial, manufacturing, refinery, or plant-level application experience are strongly preferred. Generic banking, healthcare, finance, or corporate IT Business Analysts without industrial experience are not the target profile.
Interested candidates can share their updated resume, current location, work authorization, and expected W-2 rate.
