Team Overview and Job Responsibilities


We are looking for an IT Business Partner – Tax Solutions Brazil to join our team.

Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, reporting to the IT Manager Brazil, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and evolving all IT solutions related to the Brazilian Tax and Fiscal processes, ensuring compliance with local legislation and alignment with business requirements. You will act as the primary IT point of contact for the Tax department, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, global IT teams, external vendors, and key users to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

You will support 6 manufacturing plants in Brazil, ensuring the proper functioning of fiscal processes across SAP ECC/S/4HANA and related satellite applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary IT Business Partner for the Tax and Fiscal teams in Brazil.
  • Ensure stability, compliance, and continuous improvement of tax-related systems and processes.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into IT solutions aligned with corporate standards.
  • Support fiscal and tax operations, including NF-e, NFSe, CT-e, MDF-e, SPED Fiscal, SPED Contribuições, EFD-Reinf, DCTFWeb, and other statutory obligations.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, root cause analysis, and problem resolution related to tax systems and integrations.
  • Coordinate and participate in projects involving tax legislation changes, fiscal reforms, SAP rollouts, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Work closely with external tax solution providers and system integrators to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Perform functional analysis, testing, validation, and deployment of tax-related enhancements.
  • Support integration between SAP and tax compliance solutions such as Synchro or similar platforms.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory changes and assess impacts on business processes and IT systems.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear prioritization and solution delivery.
  • Develop functional specifications and support technical teams during implementation and troubleshooting activities.
  • Train key users and maintain functional and process documentation.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal/external tax inspections when required.

Technical Requirements

  • Solid experience in IT supporting Brazilian Tax and Fiscal processes (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation and electronic document requirements (NF-e, CT-e, MDF-e, NFSe, SPED, EFD-Reinf, DCTFWeb, among others).
  • Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA, including integration with FI, MM, SD, and Logistics processes.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Brazil Localization functionalities.
  • Experience with tax engines, fiscal monitoring solutions, and government reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of SAP configuration and troubleshooting related to Brazilian tax processes.
  • Ability to analyze interfaces, IDocs, RFCs, and perform basic ABAP debugging for issue investigation.
  • Experience leading or participating in tax-related projects, legal changes, and system implementations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) is considered a plus.
  • Intermediate/Advanced English for interaction with global teams, headquarters, and external partners.
