IT Care Agent
About Fednot
At Fednot, IT is first and foremost about people.
As an IT Care Agent, you won't spend your days hidden behind a ticketing system. Working in close proximity to your colleagues, you'll be a visible and trusted point of contact for employees across the organisation. Whether you're helping a colleague solve a technical issue, setting up a new workplace, supporting a meeting room or welcoming a new employee during onboarding, you'll have a direct impact on people's day-to-day work experience.
What makes this role particularly interesting is the broad and collaborative environment in which you'll operate. Fednot's IT landscape is diverse and constantly evolving, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies, tools and challenges. You'll work closely with colleagues from Infrastructure, Network, Windows and Service Management teams, giving you the opportunity to gradually build a broader understanding of how modern IT services come together.
You don't need to know everything from day one. We're looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn and enjoys helping others. In return, you'll be supported by experienced colleagues who are approachable, willing to share their knowledge and committed to helping you grow.
What you will do
As a key member of our IT Care team, you will help ensure that colleagues can work efficiently and comfortably every day.
You will:
- Be the go-to IT contact for colleagues across the organisation.
- Provide support for PCs, mobile devices, Microsoft 365 and meeting room technologies.
- Assist colleagues both remotely and on-site, directly on the office floor.
- Prepare and set up IT equipment for new joiners and support their onboarding experience.
- Manage incidents and service requests while ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- Work closely with Infrastructure and other IT teams to resolve issues and improve services.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping people and continuously learning. You:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
- Have previous experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role, ideally 1 to 2 years.
- Are comfortable working with Windows, Microsoft 365 and mobile devices.
- Have knowledge of Active Directory, Entra, Exchange Online, ITIL (or are eager to learn).
- Fluent in Dutch, with a good command of French and English.
- Customer-oriented, with a talent for explaining technical concepts in a clear and accessible way.
- Proactive, solution-driven and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
What we offer
An opportunity to become a trusted IT partner for your colleagues, gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and teams, and grow your expertise in a supportive environment.
You can expect:
- A highly collaborative role with daily interaction across the organization;
- A diverse and challenging IT environment where every day brings something different;
- A supportive team culture with plenty of coaching, knowledge sharing and learning opportunities;
- The chance to grow both technically and professionally while maintaining a healthy work-life balance (with four days per week in the office to stay connected with users and colleagues).
Interested?
Join a team where technology and people go hand in hand, and where you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow and make a visible impact from day one.
