The power to make it real.

At Wolfspeed, we believe the most powerful innovations are created by people who care deeply about what they build and why it matters. As the leader in silicon carbide technology, we are enabling a more sustainable, electrified future, one breakthrough at a time.

Our team at Wolfspeed is bold, modern, and relentlessly focused on execution. We are building the foundation for the next decades of innovation and we're looking for people who are ready to help shape it.

This role plays a critical part in Wolfspeed's mission to scale world-class silicon carbide technology safely, reliably, and sustainably. In your role as a Commodity Manager, IT Procurement, you will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and driving procurement excellence across Wolfspeed's IT hardware, software, and services portfolio. Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business, you will help ensure that supplier solutions align with business objectives while delivering value, mitigating risk, and supporting Wolfspeed's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT software, hardware, and services, optimizing supplier performance, cost, quality, and risk.
  • Lead end-to-end RFX activities (RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes), including supplier evaluation, selection, and contract award recommendations.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT agreements, including software licensing, hardware purchases, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), renewals, and contract negotiations.
  • Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, Legal, Finance, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of procurement objectives and business outcomes.
  • Identify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and process improvement opportunities while supporting procurement governance, compliance, and supplier performance management.

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, or another analytical discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, contract management, or supplier management experience focused on IT software, hardware, and/or professional services.
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and managing supplier relationships from the customer perspective.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive accountability, and achieve results without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

This role requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing the full RFX process, including development, issuance, evaluation, and supplier selection.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, SAP Business Network (Ariba), or similar procurement technologies.
  • Experience negotiating and managing SaaS agreements, IT service agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and software licensing contracts.
  • Familiarity with contract provisions related to intellectual property, commercial terms, data privacy, and technology services.
  • Experience developing procurement dashboards, reporting tools, or supplier performance metrics for cross-functional stakeholders.
