Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Customer Relationship Manager to build strong relationships with business partners, collaborate with IT leadership, manage escalations, and ensure successful delivery of IT products and services. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with agency leadership and business partners.

• Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure continuous delivery of IT products and services.

• Serve as the primary IT contact for assigned business divisions and districts.

• Develop and maintain multi-year business capability roadmaps with business and Enterprise Architecture teams.

• Coordinate with project managers, service managers, and operations teams to prioritize requests and resolve escalations.

• Identify opportunities for service improvements, new services, and technology innovation.

• Manage stakeholder expectations related to projects, technology procurement, and service delivery.

• Communicate customer needs and align business strategy with IT execution.

• Support compliance with organizational policies, standards, and guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or at least 6 years of related IT experience.

• 5+ years of IT experience, including knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and technology procurement.

• 10+ years of experience in communication, stakeholder relationship management, conflict resolution, and strategic collaboration.

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including communication with executive-level leadership.

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate conflicts, and manage challenging customer situations.

• Ability to connect business strategy with execution and drive team-oriented results.

• At least 1 year of experience in product line planning, development, and management.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience understanding organizational structures and client interactions.

• BRMP (Business Relationship Management Professional) Certification is highly desired.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid position in Richmond, Virginia.
