We are looking for an IT Delivery Manager / Business Analyst to join the Australian Delivery team and lead IT delivery across multiple workstreams. The role combines delivery leadership with business analysis, translating business needs into functional solutions and coordinating teams and vendors from discovery through deployment and handover. The scope includes enterprise platforms, cloud migrations and AI-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with business users, product owners and client stakeholders to elicit, document, prioritise and validate business requirements, translating business objectives into agreed scope, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Investigate and analyse business processes, procedures and work practices to identify gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to business practices, system functionality and behaviour
- Use data and process modelling, including process maps and data flows, to develop clear system and functional specifications for software developers, covering business rules, integrations and dependencies. Clarify requirements and review functional designs throughout development
- Act as the central point of reference for business requirements and functional scope, guiding business and technical teams through solution options, priorities and trade-offs to support project decisions
- Apply project management methodologies, principles and techniques, including Agile and hybrid approaches, to develop delivery plans, estimate costs and resource needs, and manage scope, schedules, budgets and delivery commitments
- Lead cross-functional delivery streams, plan capacity, recruit and develop teams, and coordinate internal teams and external vendors to manage dependencies and accountability for outcomes
- Lead delivery of AI and generative AI solutions, including large language model applications, coordinating engineering, integration and deployment across cloud and on-premises environments
- Identify and assess delivery risks, implement mitigation plans, resolve escalations and manage changes by evaluating their impact on requirements, costs, timelines and business outcomes
- Take responsibility for deploying functional solutions, working with QA and business teams to create, adapt and implement system test plans. Coordinate user acceptance testing, defect resolution and release readiness to ensure system quality and integrity
- Create and maintain user guides and training documentation, and conduct formal training sessions and solution demonstrations to support user adoption and knowledge transfer
- Monitor delivery performance through cycle time, throughput and defect trends, communicate progress and risks to stakeholders, and use findings to improve delivery processes and outcomes
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in IT project, programme or delivery management, including responsibility for complex initiatives from discovery through implementation
- A master's degree in finance, business, information systems or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of experience in business analysis and business process optimisation, including requirements elicitation, process modelling, gap analysis and functional specification development
- Experience leading multiple delivery streams and distributed cross-functional teams, with responsibility for budgets, capacity planning and vendor coordination
- Sound knowledge of the software development lifecycle and practical experience applying Agile, Scrum, Kanban and hybrid delivery approaches
- Experience delivering enterprise applications, platform integrations or cloud migrations, with an understanding of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills, including executive reporting, requirements workshops and user training
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or Azure Boards, and visual modelling tools such as Miro, Visio or draw.io
- English proficiency at CEFR C1 level or above
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP, BI, TMS or WMS implementations and process improvement in finance, logistics or enterprise operations
